Thanks Ivan. That describes exactly my one and only experience with it a million years ago, I was wondering if it was because of my lack of skill... I did not persevere.

Hey Ivan, been away for a bit and just spotted this post,
very very nice mate (as usual)
tell me, is this a traditional design? or do you just let your pencil go all art nouveaueee?

what if the hokey pokey is really what it's all about?

-errrrm....It works like this: I look all those masterpieces of the great Art -Nouveau masters , biting my nails and shaking my head in utter desperation , then start thinking very hard at the problem - how do you design something that is instantly recognised as Art -nouveau , but is NOT a copy of anything well-known , and (hopefuly) , shows your own "style"...a tall order. Then it's pencil time , and then.....

Great stuff (technical term covering imagination, skill, excecution etc) Ivan.

"something that is instantly recognised as Art -nouveau , but is NOT a copy of anything well-known , and (hopefuly) , shows your own "style"...a tall order" That is an under statement Ivan but you have done an excellent job. Looks like you may have spent some time in the garden for inspiration.

    Thumbs up

I am still gob smacked Ivan.!!!

Must have a go my self - one day!

Funny though, my own work is always problematic. I always see other work by others as being "better".

Funny you should mention that Ivan...Originally from England, I get asked all the time on the phone by friends over there "Sharks, Crocs, Spiders, Snakes, Jelly-fish!!...Geeeze, how can you STAND IT?!!" I tell them "I'm just very, very brave, that's all".

Thanks so much for the welcome back Undie and Ivan.
