    Default weave carving for trugs

pic 1: carfully tap round all the lines you have drawn, about 2-3mm depth
pic 2 : around the uprights a bit deeper.
pic 3 : with the beveled edge facing away fro the upright tap with malled about 6-7mm deep you don't have to be exact.
pic 4: turn chisel over with beveled edge faceing down carefully chop towards upright, in a downward fashion (like a mini ramp)
pic 5: do this on both sides, then on the other side of upright do the same again. very carefully as this is where it could pop out. just glue back if it does.
pic 6: using 6mm chisel at an angle . cut the edges as per photo.
pic 7 : do this all the way round each horizontal piece.
pic 8 : start to shape cutting slithers off till your happy.
pic 9 : sand with fine grit paper this also helps to give the piece more shape.
then repeat this process on the rest of them.
as for the uprights leave them till last , will post details on how to soon
