that they are carl. There are a lot of good mills out there that are not wearing the lucas stamp.

Aratula, what a spot to go milling...lol caravan park, hotel/motel, a couple roadhouses, and an old wares store that opens 3 days a week oh and a school

Hmmm..nice big blade and looks fairly low maintenance...if you want all the goodies like log-lifters etc you gotta eventually pay the dues - TABS, as my old neighbour had carved on the barge-board of his shed...."There's Always Bloody Somethin" !!
Cuts pine nicely anyway. Seemed fast & simple for the smaller stuff. Where does the sawdust accumulate? Those circ blades make a bit dont they...

Could you fit your big log up on that? Frame doesn't look solid enough.

    And how many shekels?

Powersource? Looked like a tractor pto involved there.

Do they make a big size?

But how much is the main question.

    fer what it's worth...

    cheers, richie

yer there out the back in the hills.

run 4 lucas mills, 2 kara benches a multi saw and a #2 bench.
    2 150hp tractors and a few trucks.

only started cutting out there 2 years ago.

what that you say you are bringing me a kara next week.

they will cut about up to a 600 diameter log.

you can have pto from tractor, electric or stationary engine running them.

tehy have a blower to suck the sawdust away from the saw.

Hey Carl, it was good to meet you at the wood-show. I'd like to see your kara bench in action - I'll call you in advance if I'm up that way at all.
Looks like I'm moving to Mooloola where a mate wants me to fit out his 42ft boat so I'll be busy for a while. Might have to sail it too. Darn. Gonna take up good milling time.

    cheers, richie

yes richie they do make big ones, and as for the price thing as I once was told by a bloke selling rolex watches if you have to ask how much they are you can't afford one. they work well, they make resaw benches and all sorts. if you look further on their site you will see more.
