... are you saying that any potential buyer would have to be a fruitloop? That could be a dangerous statement.... I am sure it would go like hotcakes in a Japanese market.
Very observant comment about your neighbours. I have a vague recollection of somebody saying something as "the problem with many people who do not believe in God is that they would believe in anything"... I have a much more concise way of saying it.
BTW, saying it is now redundant repetition, but your work is impressive.

I know a few fruitloops John
Like the front cover of the magazine artist in residence.
Now to the life styles of the local loonies, I knew a few oldies who ventured that way only to have to return to Sydney due to ulcers from hot spicey dishes, herbs they couldn't tolerate and divorce after 50 years of marriage.
Personally I love the area for its natural surrounds.
Look into old sewing machines for some parts.
Ps hows Nev doing??

That's an awesome piece of work Underfoot - absolutely love it . I would also love to see the other works with more metal in them - personally I'm quite partial to mixing wood and steel so if the traditionalists don't like it, they don't have to look eh!
I was going to start a WIP thread of my first carving and pose a few questions on how others might have gone about it but it would just look pathetic alongside this sort of work - maybe another time
