Default comment on Men in the Shed

I would like to comment on this project.
Two months ago my 84 year old Dad contracted a staf infection in his leg and was hospitalised for a month.I live 450 km from where he and Mom live. His local Men in a Shed group were so very helpful with offers of assistance for Mom to visit him as the hospital is 30 km from where they live. In fact they were the first contact that Mom had after the event as a member was on his way to the shed and seen the ambo in there yard.
A huge thank you to all who make this possible because I believe that this kindness helped Mom until I could get there to help her myself

I belong to a "Men's" shed too. I love seeing all the support they give each other. Restored my faith in men, it has!

Warms your heart to hear a story like that.
    Reality is no background music.

As I've got a little bit long in the tooth, I reckon it's testosterone poisoning that makes men so "unfriendly".
Once the poison goes...they are "nice"
Time to hitch my pants up.....and stumble a bit ...so I can find my slippers.

    Well said TL
