Just before speaking to Crowie today i had started making a templete for the seats.
Next i cut it out in metal then placed it in the bender to which i modified and put a round bar to help bend curves.
Once i mounted the seat it sat to high so i modified the seat in high and width till i was happy with how it sat, then i cut out a new templete for the passenger seat.
Then i removed the body and cleaned up the floor pan ready to mount it in position and prep it up for painting.

Thanks Crowie,
The bender was a score for a high school it was broken and attached to a cabinet they were throwing out so i quickly jump on it and repaired it. Today i spent about 9-10 hrs on the rod, doesnt look like it but there is alot of looking and planning ahead on how things will go together when im doing the finishing touches. First i started with the floor pan getting it fixed in position. Next i finished welding the side caps to the second fuel thank and sanding them back welding them together and mounting in position. Next i drill a hole through the roof down into the fuel tank and installed a brass tube for the filler neck and the mounted the fuel cap.
Next i drilled and tapped the nitro bottle and mounted. Then i removed the dash and drilled and mount the steering column bracket as well as drilling and mount the glove box handle. I then removed the body and did a few minor change to the chassis and returned the body for final fit. Once done i soldered the headlights in position.
Cheers

Lookin Good Scotty. Have you decided on your paint scheme yet. Since your engine is a Hemi will it be orange? Can't wait to see it finished.

Back to work on the rod, what im going to do is get the under carriage all done then proceed with the body. So to start i drilled and tapped the chassis to hold the engine in place. Next i drilled and tapped the rear of block to mount the gearbox. I then stripped down the motor and box then installed a sump plug in the sump. Next i made up a front panel for the bug catcher and soldered in then i removed the radiator then the rear suspension. I did add a couple more suspension brackets to the chassis and diff. Next i ground down all the welds on everything in readiness for sandblasting.

Damn Scott, You sure are making u for lost time in the shed.
It looks like you've dismantled the whole thing??
Also what's with using a shifter as a tap wrench??
I want to see it all back together again.
