    Default New Wooden Clock

    Hello All
I have got my new clock "Tertius" ready for ordering plans,DXF´s and cogs. It is a freestanding clock with a grasshopper escapement.

    Hi Dave,

Very nice clocks which made me look and consider purchasing. One thing though, do you have to buy the plans and cogs separately to assemble the clock? E.G. €37 for plans and €30 for cogs plus couplings?

    Thanks, Scott.

    Dear Scott
The paper plans and couplings are not supplied with the cogs, so you would have to buy both if you wanted the cogs, not much use having a set of cogs with no idea how to put them together.

Not to be rude however why are the plans priced separately?

    Thanks, Scott.

Because you can purchase the plans and make your own cogs.
Those were the droids I was looking for.

Thanks, I thought the cogs were plans, not physical parts.
