Sustainability management
Hi guys I am new to this forum, I am 24 currently a freelance sound engineer and jazz musician also with a passion for fine timber and trees. However I have been increasingly aware of the threats facing certain species, as I come from the daintree/tablands region. My question to this forum is, is there much being done about plantations, reserves and a sustainable future for trees/timber supplies. Seems to me theres a lot of people that are either not interested in it or are not educated/aware of the subject.

There's some info in this thread about sustainable timber certification.
Cheers, Richard
