As schafy says or online at McJing or Cabatech depending on your budget.
I actualy got a great set of 12 from McJing a while back that seem to take a bit punishment without complaining.

If you want Pheil and only a few, Carbatec is a good source. If you want more than 3 or 4 I've found this guy really good.

His name is Rick Wiebe and the exchange rate is particularly good right now.

    Default The Tools.

    Hey Firemick,
Are you reasonably good with your Hands.
So why not make your own. Very easy.
All you need is a good quality Hack Saw Blade, in HSS. I'm sure you would have some Pictures of what you wanted to buy. So just copy the shape of Blade & Handle, or a shape to your own liking.
I found that to split the wood for the handle, trace the shape of the tang, carve it out, & Araldite the 3 together, sand the handle & sharpen the blade. Saves a lot of Money.

Issy has a good idea, but it gave me one too. I didn't think to suggest making your own. Most of my blades are made by re-shaping conventional blades on a multi-bladed pocket knife. Then all your blades fold into the one handle. Simple and easy to carry and store.

If I can post my 2 cents, I used uncountable knifes, sets, spoon reshaped in knife form to chip carve.
But nothing can beat the stubai chip carving knife set. Grab a good sharpening stone (or a spyderco sharpmaker) and you are set!
