What a brilliant series of postings showing the amazing skills of the Cooroy Club. Is there such a club at the southern end of the Sunshine Coast (like Caloundra)?

Default Aother busy couple of days in the workshop making stocking stuffers .

Caloundra has it's own club, below is a link to the details.

It's been another busy few days in the workshop making small pine toys for the markets. My wife calls them stocking stuffers.

Default Selling my toys at the Pomona Markets in Queensland

    Hi fellow woodies,
I went to my home town country markets today to sell my craft work. I was hoping to do better than I did,
however I think most people will be leaving their xmas shopping until the last minute.
Lots of potential customers in the next couple of weeks.
The Local council has closed the historic old saw mill near our club house for repairs and there have been no visitors to speak of over the past few weeks so I've had to hit the markets to sell my toys.

This is my very rough and ready stall.

    Question editing problems ?????

I've been trying to edit some of my posts and cannot for the life of me see where to do it.
I've looked at FAQ. followed the instructions and ...nada!
Hover over the header it says. Maybe I'm not using my head :/
    No edit box appears.
I can see the edit icon at the bottom of a new post but nothing in an older post
I've been using computers for 22 years and this has me stumped.
    Any ideas?

    Hi Robert,

I believe the editing is disabled after a certain time. Not exactly sure when the editing is disabled but if you can't see the edit button (see attached image) then you can't do it. This is probably done to preserve archival integrity.

I think you only get about a day to edit.
Truly inspirational work in here. Gives me a lot of ideas for next year when our club gets going again.

Default Working over time in Santa's workshop

Well it's been a busy week in Santa's workshop.
The Toymakers in the Cooroora Woodworkers Club donated heaps of toys to the Salvos Xmas appeal last week and I made a dozen small cars and donated them.
Tomorrow I'm off to the Eumundi Markets to sell my work to the estimated 7000 visitors who come up from Brisbane to the Sunshine Coast to throw their money at the local artisans.
Looking forward to little of that coming my wayWelcome to iloveeumundimarkets.com
Although I've made small racing cars before, the shape of the racing cars below were inspired by another member, Gordon, AKA gus3049. Although nowhere near the quality of Gordon's work.
    Thanks for the inspiration Gordon.
