Chipsahoy
My niece wanted a carving of a 'Grotesque' This is the result - hope she likes it.
Made of Poplar, stands 360mm high.
Thanks for the opportunity to post on this forum.Last edited by chipsahoy; 12th January 2011 at 07:17 PM. Reason: Wrong measurement

Can't see why she wouldn't... its a beautiful grotesque.
This sort of thing usually resides outside in a garden. What finish did you put on it to protect it from the weather?

Chipsahoy
Hello Whittling And Artme
I changed the measurement to the correct 360mm instead of the incorrect 1600mm. (was having one of my 'senior, moments)
At this stage it's sitting inside but has to be sent to Sydney.
I finished the carving in matt estapol.
Thanks for your interest.
