    Hi

Not yet any updates on OozeGooze. I think Rick is having enourmous work load and have not had time to do the boat at all - have to wait.

    Thanks

My existing OzRacer lugsail, mast and foils would be usable?

Good question! I don't know the answer, but it would be smart if they do fit.

    Great non-answer Dave...

    But I agree.

It is such a neat concept. I'm looking forward to seeing pictures of the Ooze Gooze build.

    Hi

OozeGooze sail is different than Ocean Explorer. So Oe spars canīt be used on OozeGooze. Foils are same shape, but centerboars is longer on OozeGooze.

I still dount have photos of Oozegooze - atleast couble are on build, but hope that soon we will have some.

    I read on Michael's site
Everything for the OZ PDRacer and the OZ Goose is identical except for the hull. This means if you have a PDRacer, you can just build the Goose hull and transfer all the working bits across.
That's why I thought I could use them here too.....

    Hi

I actually dount know if thatīs the case on Oz Gooze. ( I donīt have plans for that ) The OozeGooze layot needs the main mast as far front as bossible and mizzen for balance - so MIk has made different sailplan for OozeGooze. Ozracer mast is allso too short. Oozegooze cabin is bit higer than Ocean Explorer.
( Ozracer and Ocean Explorer uses same sails, foils and spars..)

What an interesting concept and not easy to design something that meets the design brief, I have only just seen this thread and enjoyed reading it.

It will be interesting to see an OozeGooze built.

    Hey Guys and Gals,

Im interested in finding a bit more about this great design. I like the looks and the functionality and especially the cost side of things.

More on the cost..what would be a rough cost for the build?

    Cheers

    Hi Gyula,

There is a risk the mast might not be strong enough. And the sails for the two boats are fairly different but might be possible with a different mizzen.

The only people selling the plans at the moment are Duckworks in the USA.

They are delivered as a PDF file delivered by email.
