Hi Gerry, got that.
Which post did you get the spreadsheet from, and how recently? I updated the spreadsheet with new part numbers and new prices about three weeks ago and the parts you are looking for should be in there.
I didn't have pricing (or reliable pricing) for some of the new parts, so that is missing. I've been waiting on the pricing for ages, but I know that Juergen is working on them as we speak (says he'd doing a final double check).
Regards, Brett

Any moment now..........
Stuff I didn't know: Easter may be a day longer in Germany, Juergen on hols for the week after that, trip to France for 2 days this week. He did, however say that he was working on the prices on the 7 hour train trip, and then emailed some questions this morning.

Final pricing & final orders please
We now have FINAL PRICING for the Colt Drills. I have deleted the previous spreadsheets and attached new ones to this thread, along with a PDF of product speks. There is no real need for you to check the individual prices for the parts that you have ordered, as I will email a PDF to those of you who have already placed your order (after I finish fooling around with this post).
You may still adjust your order if you wish.
I would like to now close out this order by around May 16th.
For those who haven’t sent me your name, delivery address & email details: please do so asap. For those who haven’t sent an order yet, and for those who voted in the delivery poll but haven’t ordered – please extract your finger. The exchange rate is still very good, and I wouldn’t want it to slip whilst waiting for your details. In fact if it does start to slip, and you haven’t responded then you will probably miss out.
NOTES:
1. Groggy and I will liaise re transferring money into an account that he has opened. You will be advised of this by PM or email.
2. In the new pricing there are minor increases and decreases. Some members have no change, some have saved a very few bucks and two have had increases ($0.06 and $1.50 from memory). Rather than looking at the individual prices, I would encourage you to look at the bottom line.
3. The only issue left to resolve is the jump in price from 50 to 54mm Maxicuts. I will be speaking to Juergen later today.
4. Please note that new larger sizes 1080 Maxicuts (over 55mm and over 2-1/4”) will not be available until August 2011, at the earliest. Given that, I would expect some of the pricing there might change (you learn things during production).
5. Please note that the entire 1081 Maxicut range will not be available until August 2011, at the earliest. Ditto pricing.
6. The BasicCut series of Forstners has been deleted (no sense in having three ranges of Forstners).
7. Remember: no money, no holes.
Kind regards
Brett (FenceFurniture)

Freight by weight
This is addressed in particular to the 7 who have voted for “freight by weight”. This is the fairest, but most difficult way (without data) to work out how the freight should be divvied up. So, I need a volunteer from you to fly to Germany (at your expense) and weigh the 238 individual parts in our order and report back to me. Please advise your willingness to undertake.

Regarding this comment, Brett thought it best if someone who had been on the forums longer and was better known handled the money between the members and Germany. I have agreed to do this to help out.
I ask that members pay particular attention to the instructions when they are given, there have been a number of instances in the past where money has been transferred with no details attached. When details are PM'd an example will be provided so please ensure that you correctly identify your order and yourself.

GUESSING COMPETITION (with a real prize)
Me thinks we need to add a little spice and have a bit of fun.
You are invited to have an estimation at the following:
1. How many individual bits have been ordered (not including sets)
2. How many sets have been ordered?
3. What is the single most popular bit?
4. What is the single most popular set?
5. Value of highest order? (name will be withheld)
6. Value of total order?
7. How many members ordered?
You should post your answers, rather than send them via PM.
You will be allocated points for the closeness of each answer. Your prize is your choice of:
1. A freeze dried scat from one of my cats (Blackatter, Lizzie, Nursie), sent by registered mail (a word of advice - don't choose Blackatter - they're diabolical)
OR, IF YOU PREFER
2. Any Colt drill product to the value of $30 (as per latest spreadsheet).
NOTE: Statistics will be taken as of this very minute, according to my spreadsheet.

Oh my gawd
There's only one way to say it - I ####ed up royally. The spreadsheets attached to post #141 have been deleted, and the correct ones added to this post. Not quite sure what happened (apart from being a bit stir-crazy after no less than five sets of pricing). Suspect I pulled them out of a folder where I had applied a blanket % discount (I was hopeful!) while I was waiting three weeks for the correct pricing.
The PDFs that I have sent you are correct (apart from any errors). Eh?

I see things have changed in the spreadsheets.
Regarding the Colt maxi cut plus in HSS, is this M2 steel?

Hi Brett,
I notice that the part number for the COLT 5 * MAXICUT Range Forstner Bits Set - 6 pce 15, 20, 25, 30, 35 & 90mm RotaStop (wooden case) has been changed from 10801536 to 10800590.
Is this correct? Have other numbers changed? Do we need to check all our previously provided orders for part number changes?
Cheers
Pops

Pops, yes that part number did change. The other changes were only temporary (by me) to overcome some duplicate part numbers that came in with the new bigger forstners. I forgot to change them back in some cases, but that's rectified now. Even if you have what looks to be an incorrect part # (such as 10800202), if the description and size is right then you're ok. You can believe me when I say that I know this product range from every direction now!
What you need to check are decriptions, sizes, qtys etc.
Regards, Brett

Hi Brett,
Have checked all on my advised list of part numbers and there are only two number swaps for me, (items remain the same though of course):
Old 10150764 - New 10150783
Old 10801536 - New 10800590
Cheers
Pops
