I heard about this whilst visiting Northcliffe, a little town of 300 people in SW western Australia.
They have a mens shed they were given a grant to build a while ago then this.

$82 000 grant for new machinery !!! Wow.

This should be the starting point for all fundraising applications for mens sheds.
