    Default Wooden clock

    Hi everyone,

Back in the late 1980's I came across a woodworking magazine that was doing a article on wooden clocks. If memory serves there were three but I can't remember the maker. I believe the magazine was called Woodworker.

There was one called "The Chapter." It was a beautiful skeleton wall clock with a large grasshopper escape wheel mounted centrally at the top of the clock.

I've been trying to find plans to build this clock. Can anyone help in my search please?

    Many Thanks

    Steve

    Default Wooden Clock

    Bear Stone.

The 07 Spring Issue of ScrollSaw Woodworking & Crafts had a cover picture of a wooden gear clock. The plans were inside.

If you can't find a copy, I have the plans in my computer.

    Hello Steve,

while scrolling through other discussions on wooden clocks I came across this quote. I think this is the magazine you mentioned.

"The clock you see here is not identical to, but very similar to one first seen in Fine Woodworking January 1986."

You may want to look it up.

    Here is the link.

Gary's clocks looks very interesting. I too am travelling this road, so best of luck with it.
