I got one but it was much coarser, maybe too coarse as it rattles the grinder around. The finer ones often clog up, but I burn 'em clean with a gas torch... after taking them off the grinder of coarse. If you have an arbortech then the grade your looking at there is about right for the next step down, though you'll find a forty grit sanding disc is swifter - it just won't last as long.

I use an arbourtech pro to hollow out the basic bowl shape then a 40/60 grit disc to finish the shape.

I dropped the sultana jar on the ceramic fruit bowl a couple of days ago - a wedding gift. So I hunted around this morning for wood for a new one. I'm not sure timber it is. Its something like privet, but I'll find out. I used the tench carving inch bar on the little stihl and then went arbortec pro as per iggy (nothing beats really). I began with the carbide disc, but again was dis-amused somehow and went for forty grit on the random orbital grinder. For finishing the inside I found the 120 grit on the drill sanding disc best, buttoo many to the garden, so went back to the grinder. I finished with a burn from the gas torch, sand,[ and light wax.

Thanks. The misses says the hole in the bottom is good because it brings air to the fruit.
