Default Some of my recent projects

Being new here I thought I would post some of my recent projects...

The first two are of a Jarrah spice rack that hangs on the back of the pantry door and is large enough to fit those pesky Tupperware spice containers.

The next one is a free standing spice rack for standard sized bottles made for my Brother-in-law

The next two are of a vitamin storage rack. This is made of Cyprus pine decking boards that I found at Bunnings. Ran them through a thicknesser to get rid of the reeding and they came up a treat.

Next is a shot of the Kitchen Island bench. I made the doors and the draw out of the same pine as the vitamin rack. Plans are now to replace all the other kitchen doors with the same.

Last is of a laminated chopping board that my son made up today.. Is made of laminated Jarrah and Cyprus pine. We finished it with Orange oil from WA.

I must say he is a chip of the old bock

    Thanks..

yes Son is not too bad.. (don't tell him i said that ... )

He was a little horrified that mum actually used the board for chopping on.. He was quick to inspect it to see if there were any cuts in it...

He is looking forward to making another one for his Nanna, who saw that one and asked "where's mine" ... Going to be a mothers day present.. So will be a lot nicer receiving something hand made.

Daughter is sort of interested in making something as well.. She just needs to get away from Face Book for long enough to decide what...

    Cheers and Beers
