    Default planter box

I had an order for a planter box that needed to be quite high and had to fit in a space between a wall and steps for a herb garden.
This is what I came up with. No fancy joinery, just nails and screws, it will be painted the same colour as the house, so it didn't matter.

If anyone wants the plan I have a pdf that I can email.

    Thanks for looking.

The timber was some old tongue and groove that I found at the dump. It's straight off the thicknesser.

    Interesting legs!
Legs, I really didn't know what to do there because the box was quite high and not very wide. There is a small child where it is going and I didn't want it to be easily knocked over. The next one that I build will have the internal legs tapered down to about 15mm at the bottom.
