Blue gum slab
Gday everyone my names jason i am new to the forum,i have just bought a blue gum slab 2mx600mmx50mm.just asking for a bit of info about air drying the slab as i dont want it to bow or crack.Any help would be appreciated.

Welcome to the forum rabbitohs21. My standard drying method is to slat the plank with solid spacers (top and Bottom)and secure the spacers with clamps to prevent cupping, try and store in a constant temperature area with good air circulation. i presume that you got the slab from Malaney, some of what was being slabed was not too green so the length of time for drying will vary.
