    Default Miniature Dexter Cow

    Here is the miniature dexter I have just completed. It is carvinng number three. It might be a bit out of focus as the photo seems to give it a larger than real box head look.

    It is the first time I have been able to post a picture even if i did not take it. So a few firsts here for me.

    Whittling.

    Dexter cattle originated in Ireland. They are a true miniature breed and are dual milk and beef producers. They are low to the ground but stocky cattle.

    We have two as pets and that is the reason I decided to carve a Dexter.
