    Yeah, been to his workshop in the Dandenongs. Lovely! He actually built the shed in a similar vibe to his art! Have carved tiger myrtle on a small scale before. Like rose myrtle for ease of carving ... didn't have a large piece tho and patterning was limited but nice, reckon the burls'd be amazing.

    I took these pics of some Antarctic Beech (Nathofagus Moorei) the other day. You can see similarities with the Cunninghamii from where NPWS have cut up branches along the track that have fallen in storms.
