Burning Problems
Anyone know what "PMA failure update" means?
Getting this error message when trying to burn both data and movie DVD's = I'm using Nero 8 on Win 7 with TDK DVD-R's if that matters.

PMA (Program Memory Area) update failure. Earlier versions of Nero have known issues with Win 7 and this could be a related problem. Nero have a new version that is apparently compatible with Win 7. (Nero 10)
It could also be that you have too many other things running in the background causing you to have lack of resources.
Is it essential you have to use Nero, Win 7 has its own packaged burner program built in that works quite well.Reality is no background music.
