Swedish Chisels
We have all heard of Erik Anton Berg, and Jernbolaget and even Kronan.
These all hail from Eskilstuna in Sweden.
Here is a new (to me) Eskilstuna product.
Asab adolf stahl:s ab Eskilstuna Sweden
There must have been a convention on handle styles in Sweden that was a little like the Model A Ford - any colour as long as it's black - all the Eskilstuna handles I have seen are the same style.
See here:
Vintage Sweden Chisels set 5 Asab adolf stahl:s ab Eskilstuna Sweden | eBay
So, has anyone some background on these?
Are they a separate manufacturer, or are they like Beavers - made by one of the others and re-branded.
