Vicmarc VL200
Hi all,
I'm looking at a second hand (1989) VL200 lathe and am wondering if I am able to get riser blocks to increase swing over bed or just use a free-standing tool rest and turn on LH side? Nothing wrong I'm guessing with this old Australian lathe? Ps anyone know if it has indexing on head?
Cheers all!

Vicmarc are till in operation in CLONTARF Qld, suggest you contact them and they will be able to answer your questions,.
Remember if you lift the HEADSTOCK then you will have to lift the TAIL STOCK as well , I would look at outboard turning rather than modifying the lathe, in this manner.

Hi Comgreserv
I have a 1990 vicmark, mine has an out board turning and yes it does have an indexing head.
Cheers Jerry
