Pieces of Scented Maple to Give Away.
Almost 20 years ago I planted a few Scented Maple, [Flindersia laevicarpa] along with the other Maples; Qld, Silkwood, and Hard Scented. One of the Scented Maples has died and I have cut it down and am willing to give away some pieces to anyone who is interested. It was naturally only a small tree. I was also told that it is a rare species if that can be believed. The wood is quite like the common Qld Maple and it does have a faint aroma. I’m located in south east Qld near Gympie if anyone is coming this way.

I had a fairly big one go down in Larry, still have some of it if you come up this way Croc.
Bottom was hollowed out by termites.
This is one of the things I made with it.
