Default wood suggestions for a thinline project

Hi guys, i need some suggestions about what wood use in my thinline proyect.
What i got decided is routed for two P-90 soapbar pickups because i like the tone.

I was thinking about a korina body but it hard to find.

i would like to know what do you think about some exotic woods on the neck. what i been thinking about wenge with ebony fretboard.

i would like to hear your suggestions they really welcomed what you think about it.

May I suggest you move this thread into a better section of the forum (this is for workbenches), and you might get some more replies if you do so! There's a section of the forum dedicated to musical instruments here: MUSICAL INSTRUMENTS - Woodwork Forums

As for the fingerboard, rosewood, ebony, maple are all commonly used and would all suit quite well (do a quick internet search to see what they do to the tone of the guitar). Though I don't know what timbers are available to you in Argentina.

The body - mahogany (used on many high end gibson's) and/or maple are a few.

    use local timbers
vic ash makes great necks and body cores

use some fancy blackwood, myrtle or whatever for the top
if your in melbourne look for fancy top material at AFT port melb
any decent specialty timber yard will have something suitable
eg mathews vermont - plenty about - a lot of them sell floors

most timbers are pretty ok for thinline builds
probly wouldnt use redgum or jarrah [fretboard could be jarrah]
go for the lighter more resonant hardwoods

even seen nice guitars with killer tone built with crapiata pine bodies
don't get too hung up on using exotic high dollar wood
    not really necesary

often the nicest are the simple builds out of plain timbers
    ray c
dunno what's more fun, buyin' the tools or usin' em'
