I started at the point where you are, and after a good look I decided to make my own. https://www.woodworkforums.com/f20/wa...r-table-48663/

If you use the right bits and bobs you can't go wrong.

    Thanks.

I tend to think people stick with what they do the best, so if you built that router bench to that quality all i can say is you must be one sh..it hot Graphic Designer.

Your quality for work is fantastic, especially considering it's probably not what you do on a day to day basis, now i know why your sketch-up plans where so detailed

If your quality of work is high Garageman, i would have a good at building one, there will be much more enjoyment, not to mention you will be able to make it to your own specifications..

There were two primary reasons I built my own:

    • I didn't feel any r/tables out at the time that you could buy were well made, or big enough for what I wanted; and
    • they were all too low for my preferred working height.

Starting in Sketchup allows me to really visualise what I'm making and iron out any issues before I start cutting stock up.
