I have a near mint Mak 3600BR in box with all bits including the two shown in the picture. The fence assembly is a cast head fitting with two rods that mount into the baseplate with thumb screws. The cast head fitting sits above the level of the base by a small amount.

Two adaptors secure below the cast head with a thumb screw, a fence rail and the roller follower shown. The U slot at the left end of the roller guide engages in a shoulder on a second screw, which functions as a micro adjustor for the fence offset. At the right end, the distance from the router base to roller is adjustable with a thumb screw as well, allowing the unit to cope with a range of cutter depth and reference face positions.

Can post pics tomorrow if you want, or arrange to show the setup some other way if that would be useful.

Fubar's assessment is basically correct, except that it's a 1500W 8kg lam trimmer thats happy to run 1/2 shank bits, and plungable.

I concur with malb. My 3600BR is not in near mint condition but I still have those pieces with it.

I concur with the above except that the first part looks identical to that which belongs to my Hitachi TR12.

I'll try to post some pics too.

OK....it's not identical. Yours is chromed, mine's black.

The photos show how it works though, in place of the edge guide for following curves, etc.

The photos show he Hitachi follower, the edge guide and the follower in place of the edge guide.

    Cheers

    Default Thank you.

Thanks for the quick help guys. I recently bought a tool from the Workshop Clearance thread and these were with the items from the package I received. I can now send them back to Liz and she can match them up with the correct tool.
