    Default New Build Just Completed

    Hey Guys,

Just finished up a new build last weekend, been waiting for some decent weather to take some photo's..

I was going for a retro look similar to a Les Paul Junior I retained the back end from a Jr and tweaked the horns to make it a bit more modern looking.

    Specs are -

    Bound Mahogany neck and body
    Scale 24.625"
    12" Radius
    Set Neck, approx 3 degrees
    I wound the humbucker myself
Finish is red base coat followed by "Rose Red" micro flake from Paint With Pearl

    That's a great looking guitar!
What are the fretboard inlays? Lovely subtle look.
Liking those bevel top knobs & also the pickguard. Your own design?
    Thanks for sharing that one,
    Roscoe

Thanks fells's ! Its a real bugger to photograph properly, I can't capture the glitter in the paint job very well.

Roscoe, the inlays are the same micro flake mixed into epoxy, I have a pretty crap photo that sort of shows it.

And a photo of the micro flake ( I actually mixed a little silver in with the red before I sprayed the guitar. It's subtle, but you can see it )
