Wooo, long days and nights getting into the new workshop. Had to patch a very religous roof, some very big holes, run all the cables for the security system, sealed some gaps around the rear windows, replaced a broken window. Put up some new security bars and dug the weeds out of the gutter. Got all the gear over and now fitting everything into the nooks and cranies. Bought some new shelves and built a new bench from bits and pieces (will be home to the sanding machines), It is all working in nicely. The large expance of brick wall will house the new shaddow board. Made a new short welding bench from a frame I picked up and a piece of 12mm plate. So far so good. Tony called in for a cuppa today and seemed to approve Now buuuggeredd and going to bed.

Correct. The NC seal of approval has been bestowed.
Excellent work space, plenty of light and no nosey neighbours to complain.
Also approved for forum GTGs, product demonstrations and general hang out spot. Those were the droids I was looking for.

Compared to the last place you were in this looks empty. I am glad that I was able to see your last place before you moved.
There is a show called The Big Bang Theory and when one of the characters is sick and not able to sleep he gets one of the other characters to sing Soft Kitty.
No need for you then as you already sleeping.

Hi Guys, if all goes according to plan there should always be some clear ground in
the centre of the shop to put current pieces and move things around. Should. Tony was a good boy and didn't bring the bickies, nether of us need them, although he is looking a lot trimmer than me. My old welder is not quite Nock and Kirbys eara, I think yours must be older than 30 years as mine would be30 years but from CIG. Thats not the rod holder, its a small piece of RHS lined with KO board, use it to concentrat heat on things sometimes when heating things with the oxy.
Ok, must dash, back to the new workshop.

Some of todays efforts, white board up, main shadow board up, more shelves in, another coat of Emma seal on the roof, picked up some guttering from the second hand yard, packed more stuff away.

That little tool rack looks a little light. Either need more tools or less wall.

Watching, watching ....

"If a man is after money, he's money mad; if he keeps it, he's a capitalist; if he spends it, he's a playboy; if he doesn't get it, he's a never-do-well; if he doesn't try to get it, he lacks ambition. If he gets it without working for it; he's a parasite; and if he accumulates it after a life time of hard work, people call him a fool who never got anything out of life."

I see the obligatory day time entertainment is in.
Also due to larger work are you have invested in a mode of workshop tranport for scooting round form one work station to the other.

Yes Ray my legs are way more tired in the bigger workshop. Scooter and my old speed skates in the shelf there somewhere too. Spanner board went up this morning, got more stuff packed away. Had clients from Lane Cove come up for a drive to look a at samples and chat, another table to build. Also cleaned up some of the weeds in the back lane and put another spot of Sikens on the roof, one small leak left.
