I won't let him make it a habit, sitting around the workshop listening to the radio.
Couple of shots of the new bench in the front window with the lamp and a couple of TH's ceramic thingys. It will get a change in a few weeks with some information and prices for passers by.

Getting a few things done in the workshop again now that the Myrtle table has been delivered. Got myself a new Band Saw, I have had a little old 14" that I got off ebay 4 or 5 years ago. It wobbled and shook and was getting very tired. I have been nursing it along but finaly thought enough was enough. I may have got the Basato 4 but it was out of stock so got a Hafco BP 355. Very happy with it, gave it a realy good tune up on set up. I have used it quite a bit and found it very acurate, quiet, and a pleasure to use. Also been putting the kitchen in, I had a couple of spare 25mm slabs of Aust Red Cedar along with a commercial sink from the second hand yard and bingo. Some 1/2" garden taps, some creative pipework and the TH is very happy. Architecturaly pleasing. I'll take some happy snaps of the installed bench tomorrow. Even the magpies have been in and inspected it

Oh and I must add how good Hare and Forbes service was. I ordered over the phone (easy), I ordered it on a Thursday and it was here on the following
Tuesday. Went together without any problems. Great.

I think I have the same bandsaw as your old one, certainly has the same characteristics That new one looks great!

It's a pleasure to watch this brilliant workshop come together, although the amount of work is huge. Don't know how you managed to knock out that beautiful table with all this other stuff happening.

Love the display window but, as a plumber, the sinks a bit of a worry
The time we enjoy wasting is not wasted time.

Nice one Mark the BS was my other choice when buying the Bassato 4 some decent blades from Henry Bros and you'll be ripping allsorts.

Kitchen bench man thats some kitchen I guess you must be eating well or leaving the dishes for a week with that sink. Maybe TH would have prefered a decent looking dishwasher ..........instead of you.

Hi Guys and Christos, 3TS you must remember this place is only temporary and the sink and creative plumbing are just a bit of fun. If it was perminent I would have put some pig tails in too Now we have a kitchen I can go back to work and get some things ready for the art exhibition. I'll still do a bit on the workshop/home in amongst the art pieces.
Ray, TH was pretty impressed with the other model dishwasher you emailed through, my days may be numbered.
The Bassato was out of stock for 4 - 8 weeks or something and it was a toss up between the two since the Hafco was a bit cheaper I though way not. I have ordered a tungsten 3tpi x 16 from a local saw service, I use them to sharpen my other blades and they made bldes for my old b/saw.
Christos I'm a little concerened about the cleanliness of those pink rubber gloves, who knows where they have been.
