Wipe on Poly over paint?
Has anyone had any experience finishing and guitar with Wipe on Poly. In particular I'd like to know if it can be used over a colour coat or if it is only suitable for bare/stained wood. If it can be used over a colour can anyone recommend a paint?
Cheers,
Nobus

I did a mando with Miniwax. It turned out really well. It was only over raw wood however. I have put flooring finish (Tung Oil) over a spray painted finish. Wiped it on and it seems OK. I havent finished the instrument so I cant comment on durability.
