    Default Shed

    Hi all,
    I'm in the process of building (attempting) a small shed/workshop About 3.5 x 3.5.
does anyone know where I can get some plans?
I would like to frame it out of timber and clad it with corrugated iron.
I'm a concreter/formworker by trade so I'm not to bad with technical drawings.

Any help would be much appreciated.

    regards,
    Adrian.

Not sure where you can get plans. Are you going to do a work in progress.

What does the council say about shed build?

    g'day Christos,
have not been to the counsel yet, wanted to have some plans first.
was not planning on doing a work in progress but might give it a go.

    regards.

Look up drafting services find 1 near by and they may be able to draw you a set for a reasonable fee.

I have not seen any around for many years.

Check with your local council regs - the size of shed you can build without needing approval can vary depending on the size of your block (the bigger the block, the bigger you can go).

If you can get away without council approvals, just repost your question on the reno forum....

Thanks all for the suggestions, Have been very busy lately so the shed is taking a bit longer than expected. Have spoken to a chippie mate that is going to help me frame up the shed (if a permit is not required).
I have heard that if the shed is under 10 square meters then you do not require a permit. Either way I have to get my butt into gear and build this damm thing before the weather turns feral.
