What Would You Like to Build?
Just seeing what people are doing? What would you like to build next? Is there something your having trouble finding plans for?

My next build is going to be a 32' deuce hot rod (Scotty inspired). Not going to use any plans. Going to wing it. I am thinking of doing it in 1/10 scale like my Scania truck.
I have several differnet versions in 1/25 scale plastic models and will take the basic measurements of the frame and body from there and scale accordingly. I want to make it fenderless and cowlless. Want to build a scale SBC. I have one of those in my 79' Caprice so that will be easy to scale. Also will be doing big and little wheels. Want to make some mag wheels on my lathe.
This of course will be once I finish my train which could be sometime.

Can you point to a picture of the 'real' Hot Rod you are going to base it on? Sounds interesting.

Absolutely. Here are a few pics to drool over.
This first one has the look I want but without the cowl and hood. Also notice the Moon gas tank on the front. Mine will have this I love Moon tanks. I'm not sure but I will probably due a 3 window will be easier.

This one looks awesome but doesn't have the Moon tank. But this is how I want the wheels to look

Very interesting. Quite a few little challenges in that lot but it should look great.

That's interesting Crowie. It looks like a boat on land. I wonder how much clearance the front wheels have to turn. I bet you can't take the twist very hard with it. Would be a hellof a blowout!

Sharknose
Great photos of the sharknose, great name as well. Looks like a 1950's futuristic car design of a hovercraft.

I wouldn't mind trying a mid 70's ford panelvan. They just had that look.
