Jet Fighter from Great Book of Wooden Toys by Norm Marshall & Bill Jones
Way before last Christmas my grandson asked for a Jet Fighter plane to play with.
Well it's taken too long but finally it's finished.
I put together a set of photos to show the parts that had to be made to make the Jet Fighter.
Cheers, crowie

Jet Fighter Plane.
Very nice job Peter your grand son will have a lot of pleasure playing with it,it is a shame more crafted toys are not sold in shops ,instead of the plastic crap, well done,If you had waited any longer he might of been flying one..

This plane is one of the main reasons why I bought this book. Did not make it yet, but it looks simple but realistic, just what I like. How many hours did you put in yours? It looks great!
Thanks,
Bob

G'Day Bob,
I had to adjust a lot of the measurements of the timber along with sizing some of the timber.
It took a little longer than it should have but about 12 hours, with a couple of mishaps.
I'm finding it is so very important to have the timber the exact size as detailed in the drawings/plans.
Cheers, crowie

G'Day "angryranga",
I originally bought a secondhand book from Amazon; great book.
I've sent you a "PM" about your question.
Cheers, crowie

Excellent job. I'll be attempting a plane next week. Hope it turns out half as nice as yours.
