Default Sorted out the overhead wiring.

I gave up trying to get hold of the retractable gadgets for the overhead power connectors.
Instead I bought some maybe 400 mm long sturdy springs.
Attached one end to the roof and the other to the power connector with 800 mm of wiring hanging loose between the ends of the spring..
Attached a short string to the power end of the spring, shortstuff me couldn't reach it
All I have to do is pull the string, plug in the machine and let go.
Voila, no more extension cords snaking on the floor.
It's too dark to take a picture, no lights in the shed as yet.
    Will take one tomorrow.
    Cheers

The other thing to use is bungee cord. We have a couple of these setup like this at work. Springs are probably better because they can be purchased with different spring constants (stiffness) and are also much less likely to fail over time.

    Thank you Bob.
We started putting the lights in yesterday, makes a difference when you can see what you are doing when the doors have to be closed for the rain

    Today we finished the lighting.
4 x double fluoros with diffuser.
Gives a nice shadow free light when the doors have to be closed in inclement weather.
All we need to do now is the dust extraction.
Still debating how to do it.

We're having a deluge up here at the moment.
    5 drops to a bucket.
    My excuse for staying indoors
Lee (my resident T.A.) tried out the table saw today.
I think he is in love

Default Ok here are some pictures.

We tried out the table saw, the thicknesser and the drum sander.
The dust collector seemed to cope well with all of them.
The picture of the dust collection is only a temporary set-up.
We have 2/ 4gang powerpoints at the end of the shed for smaller powertools.
