    Default Garry Albrecht returns !

For those of us between the Gold Coast and the Sunshine Coast who remember
Garry Albrecht ( Kedron ) who closed his guitar business a few years back , I can
announce that Garry is returning this year and will be back in business by Christmas.
He's at Bray Park ( North Brisbane ) and will be repairing once again . Garry's worked
on all my archtops and built me a superb acoustic archtop , before his house was
demolished for the northern bus-way He's the best I've known in my years !

I thought he headed off to Asia. I bought some archtop wood off him during his sell off.

He went to Thailand , but is missing us now ............
Don't think Garry will get back into guitar making ,since the imported
stuff is too cheap and well made ( as he said ) and some
of his orders were cancelled after he'd begun/acquired materials ; which
isn't on , really ! There was a fair amount of lead time too. My archtop was
14 months from idea to finished.Solid/flat tops are much quicker , of course.

He was in Thailand , and came back last Christmas to cover a workshop
in the 'Gabba . It'll be repairs and not guitar production as before.
