Ozzy Post own Star Track though they operate as two separate entities. I thought if they could not deliver or maybe it is outside their delivery area that it would be carded to the nearest PO and you would be notified by mail. My daughter has a restaurant at Bulli Tops (look it up) which is basically the entry point to Wollongong and Ozzy Post will not deliver to them and the nearest PO is only about 5 km away.

As for Door-to-Door services, AAE and Star Track are now one and the same and 50% owned by Qantas and Aust Post. If you have any problems with non-deliveries contact their Investigations officers, however, there no guarantee of results.

This is a good example of a company doing what they are legally required to do. Shipping was part of the service you were sold.
Good on H&F for doing it when so many companies over here don't and don't care at all.
Maybe if we as consumers didn't let retailers walk over us we would get more of this sort of treatment?

Well, spoke with H&F today. We've been away for a cupla days.
My parts STILL haven't returned so they are just mailing out replacements today and IF and when the parcel returns, they will put it back into stock
Sparkies came today, before we got home and fitted the new microswitch, supplied by H&F who are also paying the sparkies to fix it. Another .

I think so. Too many people are afraid of causing waves.
We must remember that we are paying for a service and if that service is not what we are paying for, then we MUST speak up to get things rectified.
However me must also always remember that animosity breeds animosity.
I do not apologise for making a complaint but I make sure they understand what I am all about in a pleasant way.
Cheers
