    Question UK woodies

Hi guys - having just stumbled on this excellent site, i wondered if there are any other woodies here in the UK who are actually prepared to talk to each other. So far as i know there's nothing like the Aussie forum over here [maybe someone knows something i don't], so p'raps i'm not the only brit. I'm a long-time pro furniture designer/maker, builder/renovator, all round woodie, and it would be nice to network. Anyone out there ?

I came across this site a couple of days ago. IMHO not as good as Oz WW forum but might help to put you in touch with people at home.

hi pete.there is one thats not too bad to be honest. Good levels of expertise and from a UK viewpoint, sources, supplies etc would be local. Its well attended but pretty staid compared to this lot.
Hope you find it of use.
