Hardware for pre 71 Gibson EB-2D clone build

I'm looking mainly for the bridge mute and bridge cover in chrome





I thought I could use hipshot's Gibson retro 2 point bridge but after calling hipshot it wont work with the mute. So now I need to decide to go with mutes or go mute-less and stuff a peice of foam under the strings next to the bridge if I want to play muted. Hipshot's reto bridge sure is nice and fully adjustable.

If anyone knows where I can pick up a pre 73 EB2 bridge, mute and cover it would be greatly appreciated.

How much do you want to spend seems to be the question. There is a bridge on ebay here VINTAGE GIBSON 1950'S 1960'S BASS BRIDGE EB-0 EB-1 EB-2 EB-3 EBO EB1 EB2 EB3 | eBay

and there may be others. The cover and mute seems to be here: 1967 Gibson Eb-2 Bass String Mute Orginal | Gibson Bass

but if you want them both then you are up for some serious cash.

If you're not too fussed about the style of bridge, I know Music Man Stingray bridges have individually adjustable mutes for each string:

If you could get one of them it would probably save you a fair bit of effort, chances are that bridge cover fits as well
