    Default What have I started?

I thought I would do something different than gyprock for the ceiling (plus I can't gyprock), I wanted something I could attch things to as well, such as DC ducting, etc.

So I started putting 12mm T&G wood paneling, after one bay I'm knackered, 5 to go

Looking good only one draw back with that type of panelling is that it echoes and thus magnifies noise.

Looks much better than plasterboard for a workshop. Keep at it, I am sure it will come up a treat.

The shed is 9m x 6m x 2.7 high. It took me a whole day to attach wood battens to the whole ceiling so I could nail gun the T&G to it, that included the one bay as well.

It takes a while. I have two ladders, one for the low end and a big ladder for the centre of the shed as this is about 3m up, but I take it slow so I minimize another broken back incident. (SWMBO has banned me from the roof since the last incident . I am also sliding rockwool batts under as I go.

I haven't done anymore as work and grand kids have taken precedence.

Hopefully tomorrow will bring a whole shed day

    Big sheets, one person.
Can't attach diddly squat to it.
    Need to cover seams.
Need cornicing (I can't do that either)
Need to secure batts prior to sheeting.
    Won't look as good.
    Is hard

you need to pay more attention to the erstwhile ark builder - if you look carefully you'd see it is two of clean, and seven of unclean Some of us regard that as a commandment…

That lining looks nice, I admire your patience.

Now I guess I would have to try and work out clean tools vs unclean tools, and please don't be too impressed with my patience...I 'm not finished yet, SWMBO can point out several half done projects
