Best way to repair crack between celluloid binding and wood on a mandolin
I was wondering what method and glue one would use to repair a fine crack between celluloid binding and the edge of the wood on the back of a F-5 scroll? The crack is wafer thin about 11/2" along right on the edge of the binding. What is the best glue for such a repair.
Thanks
Nic

I use this on all plastic type binding. I buy it froma local perspex distributor so you can most likely get it local to yourself.

Tip with this glue: less is less!
Use just a bit more than you would if it was wood glue or you'll be re doing it. It's very runny and very sticky.
