Default Upgrading to 3 phase motors from single phase

I ordered a combination panel saw/ shaper in the shape of a Minimax ST4 Elite. It was delivered with 2 x 4Hp 3 phase motors but I ordered single phase. So Gabbetts changed over the motors to 2.5Hp.

Ironically I moved house and now I want the 3 phase motors installed.

Any advice on the process would be appreciated.

Have you gotten in contact with Gabbets? See if they can do it for you.

I get on well with Mike at Gabbetts, but he was just being honest.

Heh, strange. I wonder what happened to the original motors.

I'm pretty sure they did because the changed the electrical scematic diagram in my manual as well. I don't think you can use a single phase switch for three phase.

They dont know what they did with motors. That's the first thing I asked.

That's right, but depending on the setup, sometimes you can switch a single phase motor through a three phase switch. Looks like you'll be needing new switch gear as well as new motors.
