Just updating, still waiting on a few confirmations, the next batch of PM's will be sent in the next few days, and the first packages will be mailed after that. I will send PM's with postage details and tracking numbers.

Josh is making good progress flattening backs and sharpening, slow process when there are so many chisels to do.

After a couple of all night grinding and setup sessions, I'm now making progress on the 3mm chisels (finally) another 30 hours of grinding and I'm hoping there will be 3mm chisels for Christmas.

A saga of epic proportions with a race to the finish.
With these out of the way, you can get onto some fun stuff - like fixing your retoother!

I keep looking at the retoother, thinking about how I'm looking forward to rebuilding it. By the way thanks again for the loan of that ratchet bar, much appreciated.

Meanwhile the chisel making elves ( mostly me ) have succumbed to heat stress, and gone on strike, so work schedule has suffered a bit in the last few days. 42 C today. (Edit, that's 108 F, for our American friends)

Ron B has some ratchet bars, new made, on eBay. Foley Belsaw Ratchet Bars for Retoother Filer | eBay

    Hi Rob,

Thanks for the tip, although I'm making my own, that price from RonB is a pretty good deal, so I'll buy a 14 tpi from Ron, At some stage I'm planning on making some smaller carrier bars and maybe an 18 tpi ratchet for smaller backsaws.

Meanwhile, back to the chisel sweatshop....

Ray when you start making some would it be possible to double up. I'll be needing some for mine and particularly interested in some higher number pitch bars.

Ps I have picked up the blaze belts earlier this week.
