Those firmers do lock slick. I think the design of the second order just looks and works better. Yes the first paring batch order grind were functional but still a little disappointing, it was difficult to get non-woodworkers in this case the surface grinding company to understand what woodworkers have come to expect in their tools. However RayG & Josh has shown nothing but the utmost care in there workmanship and that shines through literally in this second chisel order. Thanks for posting TermiMonster.

I would suggest that for $2.95 a parcel, signature on delivery would be a wise investment. Just sayin'.
Cheers

Yes, tracking is automatic now. I've sent out hundreds of parcels through AP and never had one go missing yet. In one case I was given the wrong address and the parcel was delivered back to me a few days later.
The problem with a sig required is that if there is nobody home they'll have to go to the PO to pick it up, and that can be a real PITA for those who are not close to one.
I think the only real extra benefit with a sig is that if you live in a high risk area it will stop it being left on the doorstep - whether you are home or not, they'll leave it there - sometimes they'll ring the bell to alert you, but that's individual postie dependent.

They might not go missing, but boy some are very well travelled.
A little while ago I posted 2 parcels, one to a Brisbane Qld suburb the other to Seaford Vic., both tracked satchels.
Lo and behold both satchels turned up in the same Brisbane PO, the Seaford Vic one was eventually delivered in Seaford.
Of course that was the urgent one, wasn't it!

Hi Jason,
Just out of interest, I ran the tracking numbers of the other parcels posted at the same time.. ( nearly 10 days ago ) only brontehls parcel has been delivered.. the others are showing as still in transit...
Termimonster, posted a day later on Friday, was delivered on the Monday ( I think )... Maybe I should post only on Fridays..
Ray
Edit: Slight Correction, Christos's is awaiting collection at his local post office.. open till 1:00pm Saturdays.

Parcel delivery
I was lucky to be home when they arrived at around 8.15
Unfortunately this was 45 minutes after the 4CFM skip - Management orders were you open the magnificently wrapped parcel when the skip is full
Should get a look at the chisels sometime on Monday
