WIP New shed
Getting excited, nearly ready to get the lathe, saws etc. moved in.the leccy finished the wiring and air conditioner and I gave the ply wall cladding a couple of coats of varnish, after all it's a WOOD SHED lol
Just got to work out the positioning of the gear .Its 6m x 10m x 2.7 with a raised slab (300mm) 'cos it floods here.
thinking of maybe using french cleats round the walls to hang storage off and building a wee side cubby outside to house the compressor and the dust extractor, bugger the noise!shed2.jpgshed3.jpgshed1.jpgScotty Heilander

Good size shed . . . . green eyed monster is starting to appear
A couple of suggestions, paint the ply white, it can make the shed appear more bright and if the slab is above the flood line, lay some flooring down, your feet, legs and back will thankyou after an 8 hour stint in there.Pat

Re suggestions
I have anti fatigue mats and its not quite above the flood line and the roof insulation seems to give off plenty of reflected light
I like the idea of a shared workbench for the dropsaw /router combo wheelaround, still got to work out the ducting yet (sigh) but any advice is very welcome
cheers

It looks fantastic.
They look so big and clean when they are empty.
I will line my shed with ply and paint it white. I know you get plenty of sunshine up there but all the timber walls can make it dark inside. I think it makes it feel a bit more roomy too.
I am also jealous. Another 4m on my 6x6 would be great.
Good idea with getting the dusty and compressor outside. I plan to do the same.
Concrete is a bugger on the knees. I had two layers of carpet in the garage which made a difference. I have put down some of those rubber mats in the new shed but will have to come up with a more permanent solution when I move in properly.Scally

WIP New shed
For such amount of money, I can buy a lot of new woodworking machines instead. Better for me to move out my working ute from garage and spare the money for new woodworking machines.
