Bamboo Veneers?
Hi Ladies and Gents, been a while.
Just curious, has anyone on here purchased Bamboo Veneers, and if so, where abouts did you source them?
Cheers

I haven't bought from them, but these guys, (bamboo-oz.com.au), have bamboo veneer, 2500 x 1250mm x 0.6mm - $55.00 per sheet or 2500 X 430mm x 0.6mm - $24.00 per sheet:

Legend! Stumbled across these guys this morning online, looks like a goer to me. Just have to wait until the new year, give everyone time to find there feet again. Thanks a bunch!

I didn't think there was such a thing as bamboo veneer. I did a Google search before bed last night and found bamboo-oz and a couple of other results, but they looked most promising, especially for small orders, since they sell online.
I'm not sure if I'll ever need bamboo veneer, but I saved their address for future reference. Never know.

I knew it existed, having seen skateboards been made [online], and am interested in getting a "leaf" or two and trying some laminations, see how it bends, springsback, sands etc.
I'm currently just working on a very basic piece or two which will hopefully be added to my portfolio [entering my Honours year at UTAS, which merged with ASFF]. See how I go. Something skateboard inspired, not an actual skateboard, just drawing on the production process and efficiencies etc.
Exactly, never know when it may come in handy!Buy the best tools you can afford and you'll only cry once...
