studding out the roof
hi every one i was after some advice on installing some timber studs to the roof of my shed . the shed is steel frame and i was trying to work out the easyst way of attaching the timber trusses to the c channel. i was hoping to install them flush with the bottom of the channel but attaching them inside the channel i cant work out the best way to do it .the only other way i can think of is to drop them down and bolt them to the under side of the c channel , i loose a little bit of hight but at 2.5 at the lowest it dosent matter but its the 2.4m span between bolts that worrys me would it b ok or do i need to put a hanger in the middle(i am using 70*35 mgp10) i was looking at 10mm gyprock or do i use 3mm mdf . i have got some r3 insulation to go up as well.
thanks flush.jpgunderside.jpgcan i do this.jpg
