    Default NSW Rosewood

I had been try without success to buy some NSW scented Rosewood (1500x500x40)for a long time tried all my old contacts no luck anywhere so I rang Mal Ward Boutique timbers he said no problem but I am a very long way from him he said he could drop it off at the Gold Coast for me next time he came up this way to pick up as I have to go down there every couple of months. So I bought it sight unseen and picked it up today I must say he is every bit as good as his word the board is a beautiful piece and I could not be happier, only posting this to say that if anyone is after timber have no hesitation in trying Mal for what you need for me he is a man of his word.
    Regards Rod.

Good you are happy with your timber .

Dam wished I'd known you were coming down, KBsPensnmore Kryn needs someone to bring a small press down from Eumundi to me, so I can take it down to Melb. You could have called in for a cuppa too

Would you mind showing a picture of the Rosewood, as I have been considering making a trip to Boutique Timbers to see what they have in the way of Cloudy Rosewood.

Leaving here on 4 Sep, if you can help, it would be much appreciated. Not many responses to the request in the transport thread.

That's the trouble with that rosewood, rough sawn it can look absolutely boring, but clean it up and add some oil and sometimes WOW. Underneath you can have amazing grain and fiddleback just waiting to pop.

You're absolutely correct Neil and even rough sawn I can see some beautiful grain patten in this piece the photo won't bring up,I am confident that when dressed I will be very happy with it.
