Yes forum is up the creek at the moment, I cannot upload either.

    Will someone local report it?

Already done, John. I started a thread here: Photos not uploading

Hermit, how'd you find using the wipe on poly? I'm planning to use it for my project (to a high gloss) although I'm very new to finishes outside danish oil.

Good job on the intonation. The bridge and nut stuff you're doing is a mystery to me at the moment.

    Regards,

    Denim.

    Regards,
    Denim.
I find it hard to get a good finish on larger areas with gloss WOP - you can still see the application marks.

You can get a good gloss finish, though, by letting the WOP cure for a few days to a week, then rubbing back with 0000 steel wool or 1200-2000G W&D and waxing.
I used satin WOP on the back of the neck and it worked well, WOP + wax on the body back and gloss aerosol Estapol on the soundboard and headstock.
The fretboard is finished with teak oil.

I'm learning about nut and saddle shaping the hard way. Getting them just right is still a bit tricky for me, but I'm getting there. There's nothing like good, old fashioned trial and error.
